Smoking Areas in Bangkok / Suvarnabhumi International Airport

Arrival Floor

Arrival floor is located at 2nd floor in Suvarnabhumi International Airport. After getting off the airplane there are several smoking rooms before immigration. Sometimes you have to wait for a long time to pass immigration. So I advise you to smoke here before you go to immigration.

At arrival floor there are 2 convenience stores, Seven-Eleven and FamilyMart. You can buy a lighter. There are also 2 smoking areas outside.

In addition there are 2 smoking areas outside of the ground floor.

Departure Floor

Departure floor is located at 4th floor. After getting off bus or taxi, there is a smoking area across the road. There is no smoking room inside the departure floor.

After Security Check

After passing security check, there are 6 smoking rooms. They are located near C1A, D1A, D8A, E1A, F1A and G1A gates. Departure floor is located at 4th floor, however smoking rooms are at 3rd floor. You have to go down the stairs or escalator. For your information, there is no smoking room at domestic boarding lounge.
